Los Altos Neighborhood Network Mission Statement

LANN Goals:

LANN evaluates candidates, ballot measures and civic issues, supporting those which align with our mission.

LANN serves as a resource for individuals faced with a variety of problems relating to their neighborhoods and community, as well as working with the city and various commissions on housing related issues.

LANN serves as an independent voice for our residential community.

Housing:

LANN will work to prevent out of scale development in neighborhoods.

LANN will regularly report on housing applications throughout the city.

Schools:

LANN will work to support and maintain the quality of education offered by Los Altos Schools.

LANN will work to raise awareness, create visibility and actively encourage community involvement in School Board functions, its committees and other district decisions.

LANN will regularly report on issues specific to each individual, Los Altos school or those schools attended by Los Altos children.

Traffic:

LANN will actively support neighborhoods to pursue traffic calming projects.

LANN will work to make Los Altos a very pedestrian and bicycle friendly community.

LANN will encourage walking and biking to schools, parks and neighborhood shopping districts.
